Nordic perspectives

International lecture series about Nordic architecture

The international lecture series Nordic Perspectives sheds light on recent and classic Nordic architecture, as seen through the eyes of a handful of distinguished practicing architects and leading scholars.

The general awareness of the qualities of Nordic architecture still seems to be growing outside the Nordic region. But within the Nordic countries, the awareness of home-grown values tends to be eclipsed by the constant flood of global trends.

With Nordic Perspectives, we wish to give new breath to ideas and dreams marked by Nordic approaches to architectural solutions on any scale.

Where: Aarhus School of Architecture, Main Auditorium, Nørreport 22, 8000 Aarhus C
First lecture: 29 September 2016
Last lecture: 27 April 2017

The lectures are public and free of charge. With a few exceptions, the lectures will be held in English.
